As a Fletcher straightens the arrow, so the man of understanding makes straight the trembling unsteady mind, which is difficult to guard and difficult to restrain.

Who we are

         Atapini.
I learned to meditate 27 years ago and have been practising Buddhist meditation for the past 12 years. After attending the Cardiff Buddhist Centre from 1999, I was Ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2007.  Since 2005, I have been involved with developing  mindfulness training to help people who are living with pain, chronic illness and stress. The Breathworks application of meditation has had a very positive effect on my own meditation practice. It has also enhanced my understanding of how the Buddha's teaching is relevant to the challenges of contemporary living and enables me to respond more positively to issues in my own life.               email atapini@gmail.com

     Sagaradana
Ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2009, and given the name Sagaradana  I began meditating in 1978 at a two week summer retreat organised by the London Buddhist Centre. Here I met Kamalashila who first taught me to meditate, he has since become a friend and has had a profound influence on my practice through regular meditation retreats attended at Vajraloka meditation Centre in North Wales.
I have had a close association with the Cardiff Buddhist Centre since it opened, where I have been teaching meditation on Wednesdays for many years. I qualified as a celebrant to conduct funerals in 2010.        Canonhill Artspace is the home of Barry Meditation Centre                                       email sagaradana@gmail.com
